Caitlin Ellis, SMS School Counselor

Caitlin Ellis is a school counselor at Salem Middle School. She has been with Salem Community Schools since 2015. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Ball State University and a Master's Degree from Indiana University Southeast in School Counseling. She is also a 2011 graduate of Salem High School. Mrs. Ellis has experience with grade levels K-12. Some counseling services Mrs. Ellis provides are one-on-one counseling, group counseling, grade interventions, and class scheduleing. She also is a certified trauma specialist. Mrs. Ellis is married to Garrett Ellis, who is also a teacher at SMS. They have a boxer, named June Bug and are expecting Baby Ellis in March 2021.
