Have you ever wanted one of those cute, themed Christmas trees but didn’t know how to create one? Or maybe you just don’t have the time! Well, let the creative people at Salem Middle School help you out!
The school is holding a Festival of Trees silent auction starting Dec. 1 and running through Dec. 14. All the Christmas Trees have been decorated by various teachers and students. Proceeds will benefit Lions Unified and the Polar Plunge.
There are several upcoming events that will allow the public to view the trees in person, but bids may also be made from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday in the school’s lobby from Dec. 1-14.
The trees will be on display during these upcoming public events:
SMS Drama Club presentation Saturday, Dec. 2, at 7p.m.
SMS Drama Club presentation Sunday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m.
SMS Book Fair Open House Tuesday, Dec. 5, 5-7 p.m.
SMS choir concert and cookie walk Friday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m.
SMS band concert, Thursday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m.
Winners will be contacted and trees will be available for pick up on Friday, Dec. 15.
